We were very impressed by the work of ACS Roofing on our home. When they first came out to do the initial inspection on our roof, we really appreciated that Mark got up on our roof to look around. We received a detailed outline of all the work that needed to be done and they patiently answered each of our questions. When the work was completed, they again provided us with a detailed report showing each area that had been fixed, including pictures demonstrating the finished results. I just wanted to come on here and give ACS roofing a great review on their customer service! Mark came out today to do a roof inspection on my tile roof and I mentioned that my main purpose was to have it cleaned and pressure washed before having an inspection done on it. I called ACS because they are experts with tile roofs.

Mark was very honest with me about ACS not doing the cleaning of roofs any longer but, I was so grateful that he spent extra time giving me all of the information about my roof and who to call to clean it as well as what to look for when hiring someone. ACS Roofing has been handling my roofing needs for the last 10+ years. They’ve done major work fixing multiple leaks and ongoing maintenance throughout the years. I have deep valleys on my concrete tile roof with lots of surrounding trees – not one of those types of roofs you want just anyone walking on. Owning my home since new 19 years ago, I haven’t needed a lot of repairs until now where it seems to be everything all at once. In this case it was several broken/chipped roof tiles and a wonky gutter that I’ve put off for a while. Not having a go-to I looked at reviews and saw ACS had fantastic reviews. I asked my neighbor who he uses and he said ACS so that was a good sign. He was due for an inspection so we scheduled them both the same day.

Amos came out as scheduled and the inspection was very thorough with numerous pictures showing areas with issues. The estimate was very fair and the timeline for repair was the following week. The repair crew were a father and son and they were both very professional and timely on their ETA both days they were here.

I’m very happy with the work and that I found a great company for any future work when needed.

ACS roofing did a great job on the installation of our roof. It was a difficult choice to go from tile to comp but the comp roof they installed looks fantastic with the house.

I collected four bids for a new roof on my 1800 square-foot home. ACS was the lowest bid, which I normally would have avoided, but they were also the only company that included the ridge vents and gutters that I wanted. Mark gave me great advice for selecting the right products for my home and Amos did a fantastic job of guiding the installation to completion. When some minor issues came up with the gutters, they came right back out and fixed everything the way I wanted it. I would use them again.

Good quality customer service and the actual hands on work. ACS has done a complete installation of a brand new roof. Very professional, always on time.

My 1,400 sq ft house plus 1 car garage took them 4 days to scrape off the old roof, repair all the rot, and install the new roof. They also recommended an insulation company that I desperately needed for my attic. And they worked in tandem to replace the insulation and the roof, all in 4 days.

And the cost of all of this was less or equal to the average cost of the job on the market.

After neglecting my tile roof for many years, ACS Roofing did a thorough inspection complete with pictures. It was also nice to know that the inspector was familiar with the houses in the area and common problems.

They gave me an indication of what was immediate need and what I could delay if I wanted. Of course, rain was in the immediate forecast which had me nervous. I was so pleased when they called and said they would send someone to get the leak areas taken care of before it poured, and then they took care of the other repairs when weather cleared. I will definitely have them do my follow up inspections!

I was only going to do 4 bids, but my neighbors started suggesting other roofing companies, so I ended up doing a total of 7 multiple bids. It surprised me that some roofing companies were giving bids without going onto the roof , I guess they are using some software that roofing companies use these days to avoid going onto the roof.

ACS – Mark was my inspector and he came over and had his ladder in hand and a folder with samples and talked with me a bit and went right to work on his inspection, he also walked around my whole house. He seemed to be here a lot longer than the other companies. He was very knowledgeable and answered all my questions and some over the phone, his estimate was very detailed of all the work that needed to be done and any additional recommendations based on their experience.

Amos, was also very helpful and easy to talk to, he came by and introduced himself to me and gave me his personal cell, to have if I needed to get ahold of him, to ask any questions or needed anything, very nice guy.  Ken and his son were very focus, prompted on arrival to start daily on the re-roofing job. Nice guys to have on your roof. You can hear Ken singing along with the radio in the background, but hard at work.

ACS is a small family owned company here in Elk Grove and I can say I felt very comfortable with them all from the start.  Wishing them all the best as small companies struggle these days to stay in business. Good Luck to you all at ACS and Thank YOU.

We contacted ACS to inquire about a solar attic fan. The owner came out and did an inspection of our roof so that he could quote us for the fan that would work best for our house. He discovered that we had some broken roof tiles. We were provided with photos of the issues, and a recommendation for the fan. It only took them about a week to be able to get out and do the installation.

Everyone we worked with was professional and we are pleased with the work that was done.

He was extremely helpful in highlighting the problems we have, and what we need to do to fix the problems. He clearly showed what was needed now and what could be done at a later time. He took a lot of pictures and spent a large amount of time on the roof. He then sent via e-mail the next day a complete and thorough detailed report, circling problems. It was extremely useful.

It is a good idea to have your roof inspected this way before it is too late for larger issues to develop.  A great job done and well worth the money.

I HIGHLY Recommend ACS Roofing! From Bid to Completion ACS was excellent! Their bid was reasonable, they were transparent of cost and possible issues that could cause a change to cost to avoid any surprises and were proactive in meeting expectations to keep cost inline.

The ACS Roof Removal team was polite, quick, efficient, and did an excellent job of cleaning up afterwards to where you wouldn’t even know they were there. The ACS Roofing Installation team paid attention to every detail making the finished roof so beautiful, as well as efficient as they installed water diverters where needed b/c I have an HVAC unit on my roof. They even painted vent pipes to match, and the new roof system also allowed them to remove some venting no longer needed giving the roof a more streamlined and beautiful look. My HVAC seems to be working more efficiently and with less strain when it powers up due to this cool roof system. ACS followed-up by submitting all warranty details to the manufacturer for me and provided a completion packet with full details of their contract, permits/approval, warranty, and all final details. Everything was handled with utmost professionalism and efficiency with installation completed in 3 days start to finish.

I will use ACS when I am able to do siding and any additional exterior renovation in the future that they offer, as I have full trust in their judgement and quality of work. My roof is beautiful, I enjoy seeing it every time I arrive home and am looking forward to it raining this year!

I selected ACS Roofing after doing online research on roofing companies. Their website is very thorough with video and explanation on the necessity of roofing inspections. Their inspection fee was competitive, scheduled quickly and timely completed by Amos Tate.

The review was very thorough pointing out several areas of my 20 year old tile roof that needed repair. The review was accompanied my numerous photos leaving no question that repairs were needed. The work was scheduled and completed in a timely manner. The inspection fee was deducted from the estimated repair cost. The repairmen were friendly, prompt and cleaned up everything after the work was completed.

I do feel much more comfortable now that all of the repairs have been completed and the roof is like new. Highly recommend ACS Roofing for anyone needing roof work done.

Mark’s very thorough and detailed roof inspection saved me lots of $$ in the end. The inspection cost is a bit higher than most competitors in the area but you get what you pay for.

To get a second opinion, my agent’s recommended roof inspector came with $650 worth of repairs and missed the other 90% of problems that Mark found. Had I went with my agent’s initial recommendation, I would’ve bought the house already and get hit with $5000-10000 worth of repair later on. This amount is not an overestimate since I have asked other roofing companies for a repair quote and the $5000 cost are the critical repairs. I’ve now seen roof reports and completed repair invoices from other homes with similar but less problems overall that costed $4500.

Sometimes I question if these realtors purposely pick some of the worst inspectors who will likely miss things, which will make the house look better than it really is to help the realtors sell the house (which earns them money). Do yourself a favor when purchasing a house and pay for experienced and high quality inspectors. Don’t cheap out on inspections.

A little late in coming (our new roof was finished in August) but I wanted to make sure anyone needing a new roof knows about ACS Roofing. They were recommended to me by the neighbor who had their roof replaced a couple years ago. Could not have been more pleased from the first phone call!

Very thorough in covering what’s to be done, how long it will take and cost before any work starts. The roof and skylight in the breezeway are beautiful! We couldn’t be happier. There was a minor glitch at the end of the job which was taken care of by Amos within 1 day; he ordered and installed a new shade in the breezeway that got paint on it!

ACS was recommended to us by our insurance company. They came out and did a full roof inspection, quoted us for each individual thing that needed to be repaired and provided an explanation and pictures for ALL of it. OMG! The best service in the world. I’m 57 years old been in sales my whole life and customer service is one of my pet peeves. I called ACS on Thanksgiving Day for gutter leaking into my house. ACS fixed my roof leak unclog my gutter. I had water fall streaming down. Someone was here Thanksgiving morning at 10:00 a.m. took before and after photos, showed me the issue and fixed my issue.

Without a doubt, will repeat. I actually did get multiple bids, but other roofing companies were giving bids without going onto the roof and/or way underestimating the work to get the bid to start work…it would end up more this way as they “find” more things that I already know would be issues.

About 2 weeks ago I called 2 roofing companies for estimates on some repair work I needed on my roof. Both were local (Elk Grove) based companies as we like to support local family businesses. Only one company returned my call and that was ACS. My appt. was set for the owner Mark Tate to come out, inspect my entire roof and bid out the work needed. Once I received the roof report and bid our repairs were scheduled for the following week.

We have a tile roof that is 25 yrs old and needed maintenance. Tile roofs last quite a long time with occasional maintenance which this roof hasn’t seen much of. The workers, Kenny & Rudy arrived on time and were very polite. They took pictures of the damage and repairs and I received those photos in an email within 2 days with an invoice.

We could not be happier with the service and the entire experience and we intend to continue using ACS for all of our roofing maintenance.
