New Roofs & Siding
New Roofs
Full roof replacement in composition shingle, tile and wood shake, from tear-off through to final inspection. Ventilation is sized as part of the design rather than added afterwards, because a roof that can’t breathe wears out early. Gutters are chosen as part of the same process, and go on with the roof where they’re due for replacement.
Siding and Carpentry
James Hardie fiber cement siding, repaired or fully replaced, along with the dry rot repair and custom carpentry that tends to surface once old siding comes off. Exterior trim, decks and fences are handled as part of the same work rather than passed to another trade.
Skylight Lens Replacement
A skylight lens takes more direct sun than any other surface on the house, and years of it turn the acrylic yellow, cloudy and brittle. Replacing the lens brings the daylight back without disturbing the rest of the roof. A certified inspector checks the curb, the flashing and the roofing around the opening first, because the lens is rarely the whole story. Lens replacement only; we do not install new skylights or sun tunnels.
Request a Re-Roof Estimate
Book an appointment for a written replacement proposal covering scope, materials and cost. Most re-roof estimates are free.
Appointment for Other Services
Book an appointment for siding work or skylight lens replacement.
Roof Inspection & Repair
Leaks and Roof Repairs
Leak diagnosis and repair across tile, asphalt, wood shake and flat roofs: failed flashings, worn penetrations, cracked and slipped tile, and the debris buildup behind a good deal of it. Residential and commercial, with maintenance programs available.
Roof Inspections
Basic and Premium inspections, drone assessment where a roof can’t be safely walked, and wind damage evaluation. Inspections produce a written report with high-resolution photographs and a proposal for any work recommended, which is what escrow companies, buyers, sellers and insurers ask to see.
Insurance Claim Inspections
Cause of loss analysis documented in a written report with photographs, for when a claim has been filed and the source of the damage needs establishing. Drone assessment is used for anything that can’t be reached safely.
Schedule a Roof Inspection
Book a Basic or Premium inspection, a Ventilation Assessment, or an insurance claim inspection. Additional fees may apply for steep pitch, homes larger than 2,800 square feet, or roofs requiring a three-story ladder.
Leak and Repair Appointment
Book an evaluation for an active leak or a specific repair. The form asks a great deal, because leaks rarely start directly above the stain and the answers narrow down where to look before anyone gets on the roof.
Tile Roof Repair Appointment
Book an evaluation for cracked, slipped or fallen tile. Tile takes the weather but the underlayment beneath it does the waterproofing, so broken tile is worth handling before the wet season rather than after.
Cooling Your Home
Ventilation Assessment
An evaluation of how air moves through your roof space, covering intake and exhaust and whether what’s installed is actually doing its job. Poor ventilation shows up as high cooling bills through a Sacramento summer, heat and moisture trapped above the ceiling, and roofing material that wears out before it should. Recommendations may include ridge vents, solar or gable fans, or a whole house fan, sized to meet California Title 24.
Vents and Attic Fans
Intake options including eave and O’Hagin vents, and exhaust including ridge vents, solar attic fans, and electric fans with thermostatic and humidistat control. Balanced airflow regulates both temperature and moisture, which protects the roof above it as much as the room below.
Whole House Fans
AirScape whole house fans draw cool evening air through the house and push the day’s heat out through the roof space, at a fraction of the running cost of air conditioning. A ventilation assessment comes first, because a whole house fan only works if that air has somewhere to go.
Cool Roofs
Roofing that reflects solar energy rather than absorbing it, available in a range of materials and colors including Energy Star rated options. Meets California Title 24 and takes measurable load off your cooling through the summer.
Radiant Barriers and Insulation
Low-E Therma-Sheet reflective insulation for roof decks, garage doors and other surfaces that absorb heat and pass it into the living space. Meets Title 24 requirements.
Roof Cleaning and Maintenance
Gutter Services
Professional gutter cleaning across the Sacramento area, clearing the leaves and debris that send water over the edge instead of down the downspout. We recommend a roof inspection alongside it, because the two systems feed each other: a clogged gutter backs water up onto the roof, and a failing roof sends the debris straight into the gutter.
Roof Cleaning Services
Full exterior roof cleaning using a low-pressure soft wash, which lifts dirt, debris and organic growth without stripping the mineral granules that protect a composition shingle from the sun. Every cleaning begins with an inspection, so you receive a written report on the roof’s condition alongside the cleaning proposal. Gutter cleaning is included where applicable, other than on spot cleanings limited to one section of the roof.
Moss Inspection and Removal
Certified inspection followed by a low-pressure soft-wash treatment for moss, lichen and algae. Where an insurer has asked for moss to be removed, we can provide written confirmation as a licensed roofing contractor that the roof has been cleaned, which is usually what they want on file.
Schedule a Roof Cleaning
Book a general roof cleaning: dirt, debris, organic growth and overall condition.
Schedule Moss Removal
Book a moss treatment. Use this one rather than the general cleaning form if you already know moss is the problem, or if your insurance company has asked for it.
Request Gutter Services
Book a gutter appointment. Tell us what you’re seeing and we’ll work out what the property needs.
