Siding

We install James Hardie fiber cement siding, and we repair as well as replace.

What tends to matter more is what turns up once the old siding comes off: dry rot, damaged sheathing, trim that’s been wet for years. We handle that work ourselves rather than stopping and calling someone else, which is usually the difference between a job that finishes on schedule and one that doesn’t.

Skylight lens replacement

Skylight lenses cloud, craze and crack with age and sun exposure, and a failed lens is a hole in the one surface of the house whose whole job is keeping water out.

We replace lenses. We don’t install new skylights, so if you’re looking to put one in where there isn’t one, we’re not the right people for that part.

What almost always matters more than the lens itself is the flashing where the skylight meets the roof. That’s where skylights leak, and it’s roofing work rather than window work, which is why it’s worth having a roofer look at it.

What happens after you submit

  1. We review what you’ve sent to check the work falls within what we do. Either way we’ll contact you, and if it’s something we provide we’ll schedule an appointment.
  2. A nationally certified inspector visits the property, inspects the issue, takes any necessary measurements and photographs, and documents the findings.
  3. You receive a written proposal covering scope, materials and cost.

Work is quoted per property. You receive a written proposal setting out the scope, materials and cost before anything is scheduled, and nothing goes ahead until you’ve agreed to it.

Both of these touch the roof or the edge of it, which is where most exterior work goes wrong.
