Title 24, Part 6
Title 24, Part 6, is California’s Building Energy Efficiency Standard. Its purpose is to help reduce peak energy consumption, particularly the kind that contributes to rolling blackouts. Gutters & Downspouts 101
To divert water that runs down the roof to an area that will not affect the building. Without a gutter system, rainwater will stream down the sides of a building creating pools of water on the ground. This will cause erosion in foundations.
